Wiz Kennedy has spent more than twenty years travelling the length and breadth of Africa — exploring, working, and building a life shaped by the wild. His story is one of curiosity, humour and deep connection; of nights under vast skies and friendships forged far from the beaten path.

From the frozen silence of the Arctic to the peaks of the Himalayas and the windswept steppes of Asia, adventure has always called to him. In 2008, he and Juju answered that call — driving from his home in Scotland to Kenya through the Sahara Desert. They never really stopped. Kenya became home; the bush, their rhythm.

Today, Wiz is known for the commitment and heart he brings to every journey. A Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, husband, and father of three, he’s the sort of guide who makes you feel the wild — not just see it. When he’s not in the bush, he can be found knee-deep in a river with a fly rod, lying under an aging Land Rover or freeride skiing in the Himalaya.
